Becky arrived in Bangkok on January 1st 2004, along with her 2 children and husband who had been offered a job in the petrochemical engineering industry.

It wasn’t long before Becky discovered and became involved with the British Women’s Group here in Thailand where she enjoyed working on the committee with Gale Bailey (Chairperson at that time). In those days the group had no website and no-one on the committee had any website experience. Training was offered to anyone interested in learning the basics and Becky took up the challenge, thus she was involved in the creation of the British Women’s Group website, it’s revamp a couple of years later and is still involved with it today.

Some years later, Becky discovered and became a member of the St Georges Society here in Bangkok and when Gale took over as Chairperson, she decided it was time to come onboard and make a contribution, she now helps to maintain the St Georges website and has also created a website of her own!
