Gale first came to Bangkok with her family in May 1997 and worked almost full time for the first six years as Assistant Regional Manager for Asia Pacific.

After a short time, her children returned to UK but later her daughter Jane returned and now works at Bangkok International Medical Centre where she is Regional Manager.

Almost immediately after Gales arrival, she joined the British Women's Group where she served as Chairman for 3 years from 2002-2005 and still works with the groups welfare team.

Gale became a member of Bangkok St. George's Society about 10 years ago and took over as President in 2005. Prior to this she had been a council member, helping at many of the St. George's events.

Gale misses her son and family in England but enjoys her life in Thailand where she feels you only have to do a little, to help so many!

Gale enjoys welfare work, prison visiting, reading, writing and socialising.
