Charitable Work
We need your
money!! Thailand's population comprises some
60 million people. Well over 50% are dependent on the land
or the sea; subsistence rice, sugar or tapioca farmers, fishermen,
hill-tribes people, their wives and children. Many live in
poverty and are without the means to help themselves. Many
schools do not have even basic facilities and equipment. Please
help if you are able to do so.
If you have charitable monies available,
or have an interest in helping the so many needy people in
Thailand, please visit our Charitable Work page. We are very
keen to hear from potential donors, especially fellow Branches
of The Royal Society of St. George or other related St. George's
organisations. If your interest is in any particular area,
such as say, children's projects, we would be very happy to
work with you to identify a number of worthy causes for your
consideration. We would be delighted to work on the nominated
projects, and would provide regular progress reports. Field
visits can be arranged when your members visit Thailand.
