The President is elected
by the Society membership at the AGM. Council Members are
then also elected at the AGM, and would offer to serve in
the various positions as shown below.
For the year 2006/2007 the Council of the

We are always on the lookout for good people
to join the Council who would like to have some fun whilst
doing good work for their fellow members and for the needy
in Thailand. Council Meetings are held on a monthly basis
during the May to December period, and at generally twice-monthly
intervals during the run-up to The St. George's Ball, between
January and April.
The Meetings are structured but informal and
fun. We also operate some ad-hoc sub-committees, such as the
Charities and Golf sub-committees, and various sub-committees
undertaking projects for the Annual Ball or other events,
so even if you don't want to join in an official capacity,
you can still contribute!
Please contact President Gale Bailey or any Council
Member to express your interest. You will be made very welcome,
and invited to attend a Council Meeting if you so wish, to
enable you to make a final "yes" or "no"
decision.
